Advanced Infrared Resources (AIRA) is dedicated to delivering superior quality, personalised, and hands on infrared thermography training throughout Australia. Following the international infrared recommended course curriculum, ISO 18436-7 Condition Monitoring and Diagnostics of Machines; AIRA offers Category 1 and Category 2 Courses that are certified by the Australian Institute of Non-Destructive Testing (AINDT) to ensure a clear pathway to certification. We deliver programs throughout the year, offering face-to-face, virtual, or private courses conducted onsite for groups of six or more. 

AIRA’s training ensures each student learns to operate their own camera efficiently, making use of all of the camera features and functions available for their specific application. AIRA Courses contain hands on workshops to ensure that each student can proficiently perform the infrared thermography tasks required to competently perform their infrared functions in their work place. Every student receives free ongoing support by phone & email from their instructor after they have attended a course.

Infrared Thermography Courses

Category 1

Following recommended training requirements of ISO 18436-7 for obtaining a Category I Infrared Thermography qualification, recognised by the Australian Institute of Non-Destructive Testing (AINDT).

Category 2

This course builds on Category 1 training to meet challenges such as active infrared applications. It follows the recommended training requirements of ISO 18436-7 for Category II Thermal/Infrared Training.

Onsite Infrared Training Courses

We come to you

Available for 6 or more participants. AIRA offers onsite infrared training conducted at your facility, using your equipment, and focusing the course towards your specific applications to provide a hands on and relevant experience for your employees. The duration of the training varies depending on each client’s needs and an evaluation of equipment is conducted in advance to ensure  training is aligned with internal reporting procedures and the participants’ time and experience is maximised.
